The device has plates (3) on two shafts (1,2) which can be rotated parallel to one another in opposite directions, which plates have a contour which has projections (4) which alternate along the circumference at regular angular pitches and gaps which are wider than these projections. A plurality of plates (3) is arranged behind one another with an angular offset with respect to one another on each of the shafts (1,2). The plates (3) on the shafts (1,2) are arranged at an axial distance from one another in such a way that the projections (4) of the cooperating plates (3) engage in one another without mutual touching when the plates rotate. For the cereal fed in from above, a channel (5) for the passage of the cereal which is processed by the circumferential surfaces and shelled and/or broken by the roughened circumferential surfaces is formed in the engagement area of the plates (3) between the projections (4) of the cooperating plates (3). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Vorrichtung weist auf zwei zueinander parallelen und gegensinnig drehbaren Wellen (1, 2) Scheiben (3) mit einer am Umfang in regelmässiger Winkelteilung abwechselnd Vorsprünge (4) und gegenüber diesen breitere Lücken aufweisenden Kontur auf. Mehrere Scheiben (3) hintereinander sind winkelversetzt zueinander auf jeder der Wellen (1, 2) angeordnet. Die Scheiben (3) auf den Wellen (1, 2) sind im Achsabstand voneinander derart angeordnet, dass die Vorsprünge (4) der zusammenwirkenden Scheiben (3) ohne gegenseitige Berührung bei Drehung der Scheiben ineinandergreifen. Für das von oben zugeführte Kerngut ist im Eingriffsbereich der Scheiben (3) zwischen den Vorsprüngen (4) der zusammenwirkenden Scheiben (3) ein Kanal (5) für den Durchtritt des durch die Umfangsflächen bearbeiteten Kernguts gebildet, welches durch die gerauhten Umfangsflächen entschalt und/oder gebrochen wird.
