- La présente invention concerne un procédé de réalisation d'un système modulaire utilisable notamment au large des côtes, ce système comportant un groupe de cylindres (A1, A2, A3...) reliés entre eux de manière rigide, ce groupe comprenant au moins un cylindre central (A1) et une pluralité de cylindres périphériques (A2, A3...). - Ce procédé comporte les étapes successives suivantes: on assemble entre eux à quai (8), au moins deux premiers cylindres périphériques (A4 et A5), on assemble le cylindre central (A1) à ces deux cylindres périphériques (A4 et A5), on met à l'eau l'ensemble constitué par ledit cylindre central (A1) et lesdits premiers cylindres périphériques (A4 et A5) et, ledit ensemble étant mis à l'eau, on effectue l'assemblage des cylindres périphériques (A2, A7, A8...) restant audit ensemble (A1, A4, A5). - L'invention peut être avantageusement utilisée pour la réalisation d'une plateforme de production de pétrole au large des côtes.
