Abstract (en)
1. A heating or cooking apparatus (1), particularly feeding with coal or wood, such as a dutch oven, kitchener or cooking-stove, said apparatus (1) having an upper plate (4) above which emerges a fume exhaust-pipe (2), as a lid (3) being moreover intended for covering and protecting said upper plate (4), characterized by the fact that the lid (3) is composed of two parts (6, 7) disposed on both sides of the exhaust-pipe (2), each of the parts (6, 7) comprising an articulation authorizing, on the one hand, a lateral clearance (8) permitting to off-set them in respect of the pipe (2) and, on the other hand, an angular clearance (10) allowing to put them vertically in respect of the upper plate (4), in order whether to completely cover the upper plate (4) or to dispose the two parts (6, 7) of the lid (3) vertically behind the pipe (2) so as to form a non-discontinuous thermal protection wall.

L'invention est relative à un couvercle d'appareils de chauffage ou de cuisson en général. Selon l'invention, le couvercle est composé de deux parties (6) et (7) disposées de part et d'autre du conduit d'évacuation des fumées (2). Chacune des parties (6) ou (7), étant montée sur une charnière (12) qui, outre le mouvement de rotation autorisé, permet un débattement latéral (8). L'invention concerne tout particulièrement les fourneaux, poêles ou cuisinières du type à charbon ou à bois à usage ménager.
