Schaumarme und wasserhärtestabile Korrosionsmittel sind Alkali- und Ammoniumsalze der Para-alky-aryl-sulfonamidoessigsäuren der Formel I: <IMAGE> R¹=Alkyl-(C1-6); R²=Methyl- oder H, vorzugsweise R¹=Hexyl- und R²= H oder Gemische der Verbindungen in Anwendungsmengen von 0,5 kg/m³. (Die Herstellungsmethoden sind bekannt.)
