[origin: US4574532A] A protective-hood fastening for portable angled grinders is disclosed. The protective hood is attached by a tensioning strap and screw to, and can be released from, a spindle collar on the gear housing. A securing element prevents the hood from slipping off the housing and into the grinding disk.

Es wird eine Schutzhaubenbefestigung für tragbare Winkelschleifer vorgeschlagen, bei der die Schutzhaube mittels einer Spannschelle und einer Befestigungsschraube auf dem Spindelhals des Getriebegehäuses lösbar befestigt ist. Um zu vermeiden, daß die Schutzhaube sich unbeabsichtigt vom Getriebegehäuse weg zur Schleifscheibe hin bewegt, ist ein Sicherungselement vorgesehen.
