1. An actuating device of a rotatable column (1), especially for moving a pivoting door wing of a motor vehicle, in which device the rotatable column (1) which is rotatably supported, at both ends, in holders (2, 3), is formed as a hollow cylinder having driving elements arranged therein, characterized in that, within the rotatable column (1), a cylindrical bar (9) is coaxially arranged and positively secured to at least one of the holders (2, 3), the diameter of the bar (9) being smaller than the internal diameter of said rotatable column (1), and said bar (9) being provided at least over part of the length of the rotatable column (1), with a least one longitudinal rib (10, 11) outwardly protruding directly up to the internal surface of the rotatable column (1), and the internal surface of the rotatable column (1) being provided, at least over part of its length, with at least one longitudinal web (12, 13) extending radially inwardly right up to the outer surface of the cylindrical bar (9), the arrangement being such that by means of the rib (10, 11) and the web (12, 13), at least two chambers (A to D) are formed in the space between the rotatable column (1) and the bar (9), whereby longitudinally directed hoses (614, 15, 16, 17) made of gastight, higly expansible, elastic material are received in said chambres (A to D), one end of the hoses being closed whereas the other end is adapted to be connected, through a pressure pipe (18, 19) passing through the holder (2) in outward direction, to a compressed-gas source in such a way that, for activating the actuating device, one of the hoses (15, 17) is alternatively supplied with compressed gas at a predetermined pressure while compressed gas is evacuated from at least another one (14, 16) of the hoses.

Eine Antriebsvorrichtung für eine Drehsäule, insbesondere zur Bewegung von Schwenktürflügeln an Kraftfahrzeugen. Die Drehsäule (1) ist als Hohlzylinder ausgebildet, in den ein Druckgasantrieb integriert ist. Hierzu ist durch die Drehsäule (1) koaxial ein zylindrischer Stab (9) hindurchgeführt, an dem sich in ihrer Breite in Längsrichtung des Stabes erstreckende radiale Flügel (10, 11) angeordnet sind, während an der Innenseite der Drehsäule (1) sich in ihrer Breite in Längsrichtung der Drehsäule erstreckende radiale Lamellen (12, 13) angeordnet sind. In den zwischen den Flügeln (10, 11) und den Lamellen (12, 13) entstehenden Kammern (A bis D) sind Schläuche (14 bis 17) angeordnet, die an eine Druckgasquelle anschließbar sind. Je nachdem welche Schläuche mit Druck beaufschlagt und welche entlüftet werden, wird die Drehsäule (1) in der einen oder der anderen Drehrichtung durch den auf die Lamellen (12, 13) ausgeübten Druck in Bewegung gesetzt.
