[origin: WO8403560A1] An improved mirror alignment control for dynamically aligning the reflecting mirrors bounding the optical path in an interferometer comprises a closed loop servo control which utilizes a two frequency laser beam (16) to provide phase comparison between beams traversing differing portions of the optical paths in the interferometer to determine alignment of the mirrors (12, 14), said phase comparison providing a correction signal to direct multi-axial alignment of at least one of the mirrors.

Une commande améliorée d'alignement de miroir pour l'alignement dynamique des miroirs réfléchissants qui délimitent le cheminement optique dans un interféromètre comprend une servo-commande à boucle fermée qui utilise un rayon laser à deux fréquences (16) pour effectuer une comparaison de phases entre les rayons traversant différentes parties des cheminements optiques dans l'interféromètre pour déterminer l'alignement des miroirs (12, 14), cette comparaison de phases permettant de produire un signal de correction servant à l'alignement multi-axial d'au moins un des miroirs.
