The heat exchanger pipe (1) is provided over its outer surface with formed-on ribs which extend helically around said surface and have slots (5), notches or the like which run in the radial direction. In the method for its manufacture, a starting pipe (6) having a uniformly structured surface is taken as a starting point and is subjected to a deformation operation to produce the ribs (2). In order in particular to allow a substantially larger area in respect of slot depth to be covered, the invention proposes that the starting pipe (6) be manufactured by an extrusion operation in which grooves (7) extending in the longitudinal direction of the pipe are produced (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Wärmeübertragungsrohres (1) mit an der Außenoberfläche angeformten, schraubenlinienförmig umlaufenden Rippen (2), die in radialer Richtung verlaufende Schlitze (5), Kerben oder ähnliches aufweisen. Dabei wird von einem an der Oberfläche regelmäßig strukturierten Ausgangsrohr (6) ausgegangen, das einem Verformungsvorgang zur Erzeugung der Rippen (2) unterworfen wird. Um insbesondere einen wesentlich größeren Bereich hinsichtlich der Schlitztiefe überstreichen zu können, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, das Ausgangsrohr (6) durch einen Strangpreßvorgang herzustellen, bei dem in Rohrlängsrichtung verlaufende Nuten (7) erzeugt werden.
