Abstract (en)
A cylinder of the bar is provided with struts between which the needles are axially movable. The bar is comprised of juxtaposed segments (12) having preferably the same width, along the periphery of the cylinder (11). The segments are formed of juxtaposed struts (13, 14) having different heights which alternate in regular sequences. The struts are held together by means of cleats (16) made of metal or plastic material and cast into recess (15) preferably on the lower side and extending throughout the width of the segments.

Nadelbett für Rundstrick- und -wirkmaschinen, deren Zylinder Stege aufweist, zwischen welchen die Strick- bzw. Wirknadeln in axialer Richtung bewegbar gelagert sind, welches aus über den gesamten Umfang des Zylinders (11) gleichmäßig verteilt angeordneten, vorzugsweise gleich breiten, unmittelbar aneinander anliegenden Segmenten (12) besteht, welche aus flachen, dicht aneinander anliegenden Stegen (13, 14) unterschiedlicher Höhe, die in regelmäßiger Folge einander abwechseln, zusammengesetzt sind, wobei der Verbund der Stege (13, 14) mittels in Ausnehmungen (15) vorzugsweise auf der Unterseite eingegossenen Metalls oder Kunststoffs in Form sich über die ganze Breite der Segmente erstreckender Stäbe bzw. Leisten (16) od.dgl. bewirkt ist.
