1. An elongate carding plate for a carder used for carding fibre material, which carding plate is to co-operate with the coating of the drum and has a rod-shaped, rigid, support, on the side of which co-operating with the coating of the drum is arranged a row of plates forming a tooth bed extending approximately parallel to the axis of rotation of the drum, which plates are arranged on a face of the support approximately perpendicular and parallel to one another and abut one another with their broadsides, at least a number of the plates being tooth plates, which are toothed on their longitudinal sides remote from the support in order to form the teeth of the tooth bed, and the plates of the row of plates being held by clamping means arranged on the support, characterised in that the plates (15, 16) of a row of plates (12a; 12b; 12c; 12d) forming a tooth field form at least one pack held together per se, the plates of the pack having recesses (24), which form at least one straight first channel (24') penetrating the pack, which channel is penetrated by a clamping device (26, 27) holding the plates of the pack together and pressing them against one another, and that the plates of the pack on their narrow sides facing the support (11) have recesses (30) having respectively at least one undercut, which recesses form at least one second channel (30') of the pack open towards the support, the clamping means (32, 39) of which press the pack against the support engaging with the undercut face, of which there is at least one, and which is formed by at least one undercut, on the pack.

Langgestreckte Kardierplatte (10) mit einer ein Zahnfeld (13) bildenden Scheibenreihe (12a - 12d), die auf einem stabförmigen, starren Träger (11) gehalten ist. Die Scheiben (15, 16) der Scheibenreihe bilden mindestens ein in sich zusammengehaltenes Paket (21), das mindestens einen es durchdringenden geraden ersten Kanal (24') aufweist, der von einer die Scheiben des Paketes zusammenhaltenden Spannvorrichtung (26, 27) durchdrungen ist. Das Paket (21) weist ferner auf seiner dem Träger zugewendeten Seite mindestens einen zum Träger hin offenen, zweiten Kanal (30') auf, der mindestens eine Hinterschneidungsfläche (31) aufweist, an der das Paket an den Träger anpressende Aufspannmittel (32, 39) angreifen.
