1. A wide-angle hinge comprising two hinge arms (1, 2), which are pivotally interconnected by a pivot pin (3) and which at one end are pivoted to the confronting inner ends of a fixing member (10) that is to be secured to a carrying wall and to a preferably cup-shaped fixing member (5) that is to be secured to a door, whereas the pivotally movable ends are pivoted by pivoted levers (8, 13) to the outer ends of said fixing parts (5, 10), also comprising a cam (17, 18, 24, 32), which is disposed adjacent to an articulated joint and has a cam face against which a sliding or rolling element (22, 31, 33) is forced, which is biased by a closing spring (21) and which is pivotally movable by a part of the hinge about the axis of the hinge (3), and said cam face is so shaped that the closing spring (21) acts in the closing sense substantially only when the parts of the hinge are near their closed position, characterized in that the cam (17, 18, 24, 32) is provided on one of the hinge arms (1) adjacent to the common joint of the hinge arms, and the closing spring (21, 30, 37) and the sliding or rolling elements (22, 31, 33) acted upon by the closing spring are provided on the other hinge arm (2).

Die einen Enden zweier sich scherenartig kreuzender, gelenkig durch einen Gelenkbolzen miteinander verbundener Gelankarme eines Weitwinkelscharniers sind gelenkig mit den einander zugewandten, innen liegenden Enden eines Tragwandanschlagteils und eines Türanschlagteils verbunden. Die schwingenden Enden der Gelenkarme sind über Schwinghebel an den außen liegenden Enden der Anschlagteile angelenkt. Im Bereich eines Gelenks ist ein Nocken angeordnet, dessen Nockenfläche, gegen die ein von einer Schließfeder belasteter und von einem Gelenkteil um die Achse des Gelenks schwenkbarer Gleit- oder Rollkörper angedrückt ist, derart ausgebildet ist, daß die Schließfeder im wesentlichen nur im Bereich der Schließstellung der Gelenkteile in Schließrichtung wirkt. Um ohne größeren zusätzlichen Montageaufwand Scharniere ohne Schließvorrichtungen und mit Schließvorrichtungen mit unterschiedlichen Schließcharakteristiken herstellen zu können, ist der Nocken (17) an einem der Gelenkarme (1) im Bereich des gemeinsamen Gelenks der Gelenkarme vorgesehen. Die Schließfeder (21) und der von dieser beaufschlagte Gleitkörper sind an dem anderen Gelenkarm (2) angeordnet.
