1. Continuous casting mould consisting of an inner wall (2) provided for the contact with the liquid metal (3) and an outer wall (9) made of copper and bonded to the former, said two walls (2 and 9) featuring structural build-ups differing from one another and the outer wall (9) being exposed to a liquid cooling, characterized in that the liquid cooling is realized by means of cooling tubes (8) cast in the outer wall (9), and that the bonding of the outer wall (9) to the inner wall (2) is of substance, and the tubes (8) are arranged superimposed in at least one plane (12, 13), which is perpendicular to the direction of the heat flow, the inner wall (2) made of fine-grained and dense material being manufactured without cutting.
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Stranggießkokille, insbesondere aus Kupfer, für das kontinuierliche Gießen von Metallen, insbesondere von Stahl. Sie besitzt einen Innenabschnitt (2) mit einer Wasserkühlung, sowie einen äußeren Mantelabschnitt (9). Um die Schwierigkeiten bei der Fertigung der Kühlkanäle durch mechanische Bearbeitung zu umgehen, und um zugleich den Ausschuß zu senken, wird der Innenabschnitt (2) als dünnwandige Hülse mit einem dichteren Feingefüge spanlos hergestellt, als es beim Formguß zu erhalten ist. Der Innenabschnitt ist mittels eines oder mehrerer Kühlrohre (8) umwickelt, die zusammen mit dem Innenabschnitt (2) in stoffschlüssiger Verbindung mit dem gießtechnisch aufgebrachten, aus Kupfer bestehenden Mantelabschnitt (9) stehen. Die Kühlrohre (8) verfestigen somit die gesamte Struktur erheblich. Weder im Kühlbereich noch im Wandungsbereich des Kokillenhohlraums besteht die Gefahr, daß Poren oder Lunker angeschnitten werden, da auf mechanische Bearbeitungen verzichtet wird.
