The particles are prepared by treating base particles with a shell-polymer and a colorant and contacted to give a uniform distribution of the additives on the base particles whereafter the shell-polymer is fused to the base particles.

Procédé de préparation de particules de toner possédant une coquille de matériau polymère où est réparti un colorant. On prépare lesdites particules en traitant les particules de base avec un polymère-coquille et un colorant et on met ces éléments en contact pour obtenir une répartition uniforme des additifs sur les particules de base avant de faire fusionner le polymère-coquille avec les particules de base.
