1. Substantially parallelepipedic foldable pallet crate (1) consisting of : a girdle (9, 29) formed from two rigid opposite panels (10, 38) and from two foldable panels (13, 41), the said girdle resting on a base (2, 30) of suitable size having stop elements (5, 35) ensuring the exact positioning of the girdle, the rigid panels possessing stays (15, 43) bearing on the stop elements of the base, a cover (7, 32) fitting the upper part of the crate and, if appropriate, allowing stacking, rigid elements (18, 46) making it possible to connect the rigid opposite panels (10, 38) in order to lock the girdle (9, 29) in the extended position, characterized in that : the foldable panels (13, 41) of the girdle consist of a flexible material, the rigid elements (18, 46) extend over the height of the girdle, are laid against the inner surface of the foldable panels and have vertical edges inserted into slide tracks (17) made between the rigid panels (10, 38) and the foldable panels (13, 41).

L'invention concerne le domaine des emballages et a pour objet une caisse palette repliable, comportant une palette d'assise, par exemple en bois, qui supporte une caisse rigide. Cette caisse est, notamment, constituée d'une ceinture (20) formée de panneaux assemblés (21, 25), les deux faces (21) étant rigides et les deux têtes (25) pliables le long d'une ligne de pliage verticale centrale (26). Cette ceinture (20) repose sur une palette présentant des épaulements extérieurs et dirigés vers le bas à partir du bord de ladite palette. Un élément rigide (27) est appliqué et fixé sur chaque face interne des têtes (25) au moyen des logements (24) ménagés sur chaque bord vertical supérieur des faces (21). Est ensuite adapté un couvercle, qui permet le gerbage d'autres caisses pliables.
