The device consists of a mobile part (1) coupled to a lateral skirt (50) on the cover (5), and a fixed part (30, 31) comprising a head (31) and a lug (30) mounted on the container which is to be covered by the cover (5). The mobile part (1) in the form of a flange comprises a central projection (12) with an enlarged end (18) which, after passing through a hole (51) in the skirt (50), enters a hollow bearing (35) in the fixed part (31). The cylindrical central projection (12) has a diametral slit (19) enabling its enlarged end (18) to pass through the bearing (35). When it emerges from the side opposite the bearing (35), this end provides a rotating engagement by catching between the fixed part (30-31) and the mobile part (1). <IMAGE>

Dispositif de support pivotant ou charnière à montage latéral pour capot composé d'une partie mobile (1) couplée à une jupe latérale (50) du capot (5), une partie fixe (30, 31) composée d'une tête (31) et d'une patte (30) montée sur le boîtier devant être recouvert par le capot (5). La partie mobile (1) en forme de flasque comporte une saillie centrale (12) à bout élargi (18), qui après avoir traversé un trou (51) de la jupe (50) pénètre dans un palier creux (35) de la partie fixe (31). La saillie centrale cylindrique (12) étant munie d'une fente diamétrale (19) permettant de faire passer son bout élargi (18) à travers le palier (35), qui en émergeant du côté opposé du palier (35) assure un engagement tournant par encliquetage entre les parties fixe (30-31) et mobile (1).
