Die Profilleiste besitzt zwei in Profillängsrichtung im Abstand voneinander verlaufende, durch einen Steg miteinander verbundene Schenke, an deren vom Steg entfernte Ende je ein nach innen gerichteter, sich etwa in Parallellage zum Steg und in Profillängsrichtung erstreckender Flansch angeformt ist. Die Schenkel sind mit wenigstens je einer versteifenden, sich in Profillängsrichtung erstreckenden Längseinprägung versehen und zusätzlich zu diesen Längseinprägungen mit quer zur Profillängserstreckung verlaufenden, unter etwa gleichen Abständen voneinander angeordneten Quersicken ausgerüstet, die sich über die gesa-mten Schenkelhöhen erstrecken oder auch nur bis an einen Randstreifen reichen können, der sich längs der vom Steg entfernten freien Schenkelenden, an die die nach innen gerichteten Flanschen angeformt sind, erstreckt. Die Quersicken können profilinnenseitig oder -außenseitig aus dem Schenkel-und/oder Stegmaterial herausgeformt sein. Sie tragen neben den übrigen Maßnahmen zur Erhöhung der Formstabilität zu einer Verbesserung der Steifigkeit und Tragfähigkeit bei derartigen Profilleisten bei.
