The hollow block has, on its front side, roundings or rounded side faces, which correspond in their shape to rounded inner faces on the rear side of the block and permit the insertion of a subsequent hollow block, it being possible for the subsequent hollow block to be arranged swivelled at a desired angle with respect to the first hollow block. By virtue of the relative swivellability of successive hollow blocks, circular masonry structures and also masonry structures of other, for example straight, shapes can be constructed. <IMAGE>

Der Hohlbaustein weist an seiner vorderen Seite Abrundungen bzw. abgerundete Seitenflächen auf, die in ihrer Form gerundeten Innenflächen an seiner Rückseite entsprechen und das Einsetzen eines nachfolgenden Hohlbausteines ermöglichen, wobei der nachfolgende Hohlbaustein unter einem gewünschten Winkel gegenüber ersterem Hohlbaustein verschwenkt angeordnet werden kann. Aufgrund der relativen Verschwenkbarkeit hintereinanderliegender Hohlbausteine lassen sich kreisrunde Mauerwerke wie auch Mauerwerke anderer, beispielsweise gerader Form erstellen.
