[origin: US4633819A] A steam generator installation comprises an envelope, first and second tube plates defining an intermediate fluid discharge chamber; a bundle of external tubes connected to the tube plate, an internal tube being arranged within each external tube, a liquid metal circulating outside the external tube, an admission chamber for the water, which is introduced into the internal tubes, a discharge chamber for the steam and an admission chamber for the intermediate fluid. This fluid circulates between the internal tubes and the external tubes. The intermediate fluid discharge chamber is connected to the inlet of a heat exchanger, which cools it. The intermediate fluid admission chamber is connected to the outlet of this exchanger.

Il comprend une enveloppe (40), une première et une seconde plaques à tubes (50, 52) délimitant une chambre d'évacuation du fluide intermédiaire ; un faisceau de tubes externes (72) raccordés à la plaque à tubes (50), un tube (70) interne étant disposé dans chaque tube externe, un métal liquide circulant à l'extérieur des tubes externes (72), une chambre d'admission (68) pour l'eau, qui, est introduite dans les tubes internes (70), une chambre d'évacuation (58) pour la vapeur, une chambre d'admission (64) pour le fluide intermédiaire. Ce fluide circule entre les tubes internes (70) et les tubes externes (72). La chambre d'évacuation (60) du fluide intermédiaire est reliée à l'entrée d'un échangeur de chaleur (30) qui le refroidit. La chambre d'admission (64) du fluide intermédiaire est reliée à la sortie de cet échangeur (30). Application aux réacteurs nucléaires refroidis par un métal liquide.
