The press cylinders are each couplable to the slidable cross-piece by a coupling including a coupling rod and a stationary clamping jaw and a pressable clamping jaw cooperating with the coupling rod, the pressable clamping jaw being activated by at least one single acting hydraulic cylinder.

Bei einer hydraulischen Presse zum Verpressen von mit Glasfasern verstärkten Kunststoffmatten zu Formteilen, mit einer festen und einer verschiebbaren Pressentraverse sowie einem Pressenantrieb, bei der zum Antrieb der verschiebbaren Pressentraverse mindestens ein Verstellzylinder mit einer dem Arbeitshub der Pesse entsprechenden Hublänge und mindestens zwei an die verschiebbare Pressentraverse ankuppelbare Preßzylinder kurzen Hubs angeordnet sind, wobei jeder Preßzylinder über eine Kupplung an die verschiebbare Pressentraverse kuppelbar ist, sind zum Kuppeln eines jeden Preßzylinders (18, 19, 20, 21, 118, 119, 120, 121) an die verschiebbare Pressentraverse (14, 114) eine Kupplungsstange (40, 41, 42, 43, 140, 141, 142, 143), mindestens eine feste (44, 45, 46, 47, 144, 145, 146, 147) und mindestens eine andrückbare (48, 49, 50, 51, 148, 149, 150, 151) Spannbacke angeordnet, um den Hub der Preßzylinder in dem gesamten Arbeitshubbereich der Presse voll als Preßhub ausnutzen zu können.
