Abstract (en)

[origin: WO8500395A1] Method for post leak-proofing or new insulation, particularly for building walls, and insertion element for implementing such method. When making a new insulation, the insulated layer to be applied to the surface to be insulated is comprised of prefabricated insertion carrier elements configured as a grid, as well as of an insulating hardenable material introduced into the opening of the insertion elements (4). In the course of the post leak-proofing, the wall is cut longitudinally into segments in a manner known per se; into the slots thus formed are inserted the carrier elements and the insulation layer. The present invention is characterized in that the grid-like insertion elements (4) prefabricated as carrier elements may be used, whereas the insulation layer is shaped so that a hardenable and insulating agent (10) is injected into the insertion element which has been introduced. The insertion element (4) according to the present invention is conveniently produced from plastic material according to an injection moulding process; it is comprised of a girder grillage (5) and support units (6) combined in a raster. Balls are conveniently used as support units, which balls project outside the plane of the grillage (5) at the top and at the bottom.
