[origin: ES8703309A1] The method consists of a cold pilger mill to effect a recoil movement of the chuck upstream followed by a return to its original position, at least once per rolling cycle. The period during which the mandrel is withdrawn with respect to its rolling position is used advantageously for example to carry out the rotation of the mandrel and/or to cause a lubricant under pressure to circulate between the mandrel and the pipe. The method is applied particularly to the rolling of pipes with a large section, with high reduction rates.

Le procédé et le dispositif suivant l'invention concernent l'exploitation des laminoirs à pas de pèlerin à froid pour le laminage de tube. Le procédé consiste sur un laminoir pèlerin à froid à effectuer un mouvement de recul du mandrin vers l'amont puis de retour à sa position initiale, au moins une fois par cycle de laminage. La période durant laquelle le mandrin se trouve en retrait par rapport à sa position de laminage est avantageusement utilisée par exemple pour effectuer la rotation du mandrin et/ou pour faire circuler un lubrifiant sous pression entre le mandrin et le tube. Le procédé s'applique en particulier au laminage de tubes de grosse section, avec de forts taux de réduction.
