For easier handling and location-independent use, a device for ejection of sealing compound or similar material, particularly of joint sealing compound, is constructed, which comprises a receiving space for an interchangeable cartridge containing sealing compound, and a handle, according to the invention as a combination of a low- voltage-driven electric motor (12) having rechargeable batteries, e.g. accumulators (23), with a reduction gear (11), of which the output- side gear element (e.g. driving gearwheel 13) is non-positively connected to the plunger (10) for the axial advance thereof. <IMAGE>

Zur erleichterten Handhabung und ortsunabhängigen Anwendung ist eine Vorrichtung zum Verpressen von Dichtungsmasse oder dergleichen, insbesondere von Fugendichtungsmasse, mit einem Aufnahmeraum für eine Dichtungsmasse enthaltende, auswechselbare Kartusche sowie mit einem Handgriff erfindungsgemäß als Kombination eines niederspannungsbetriebenen Elektromotors (12) mit wiederaufladbaren Batterien, z.B. Akkumulatoren (23), mit einem Untersetzungsgetriebe (11), desses abtriebsseitiges Getriebeelement (z.B. Antriebszahnrad 13) kraftschlüssig mit dem Stempel (10) zu dessen axialem Vorschub in Verbindung steht, ausgebildet.
