1. Eine Lüftungsvorrichtung für Räume, die ein quaderförmiges Gehäuse 1 aufweist und dabei entweder als Zwangs-Lüfter mit einem Radialgebläse 19 oder aber als Druckdifferenz-Lüfter ohne ein solches Radialgebläse 19 benutzt werden kann, erhält eine Auslegung, die eine gute schalldämmende Wirkung auch dann gewährleistet, wenn nur kurze Strömungswege innerhalb des quaderförmigen Gehäuses zur Verfügung stehen oder diese aus funktionellen Gründen nicht mit schalldämpfenden Auskleidungen versehen werden können. Hierzu ist ein ansich als Ummantelungs-Spirale 21 für das Gebläserad 20 des Radialgebläses 19 vorgesehenes Bauteil mit einem daran etwa tangential und/oder radial anschließenden Luftführungskanal 28 unmittelbar von einem blockartigen Einsatzkörper 25 aus schalldämmendem Material, beispielsweise Schaumkunststoff oder Moosgummi, gebildet.
