The dyeing of fibre materials made of polyacrylonitrile or acrylonitrile copolymers with cationic dyes is effected in the presence of compounds of the formula <IMAGE> where R1 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon radical of 11-21 carbon atoms which consists of an unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon to an extent of not less than 30 mol %, R2 and R3 are alkyl, R4 is alkyl or aralkyl, n is 1 - 3, and An<(-)> is an anion.l

Das Färben von Fasermaterialien aus Polyacrylnitril oder Acrylnitrilmischpolymerisaten mit kationischen Farbstoffen erfolgt in Gegenwart von Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel <IMAGE> in der R1 einen aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 11 - 21 Kohlenstoffatomen, der aus mindestens 30 Mol-% eines ungesättigten aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffs besteht, R2 und R3 Alkyl, R4 Alkyl oder Aralkyl, n 1 - 3 und An<(-)> ein Anion bedeuten.
