Abstract (en)
The disclosure relates to an envelope to a cowper or a similar apparatus, comprising a wall (1) made with welded metal sheet, characterized in that it comprises a second wall (4) of welded metal sheet, which is arranged outside and parallel to the first wall, those two walls delimiting therebetween a space (5) filled with a filler material (6) consisting of light alloy shot, for example aluminium or aluminium alloy shot, embedded in a thermosetting resin binder. The operation life of said apparatuses is thus considerably improved and the lining and reinforcing process is relatively easy to implement.

Cette invention a pour objet une enveloppe pour cowper ou appareil analogue, comprenant une paroi (1) réalisée en tôle soudée, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte une deuxième paroi (4) en tôle soudée, extérieure et parallèle à la première, ces deux parois délimitant entre elles un espace (5) rempli d'un matériau de remplissage (6) comportant de la grenaille d'un alliage léger, aluminium ou alliage d'aluminium par exemple, noyée dans un liant à base de résine thermo-durcissable. On améliore ainsi considérablement la durée de vie de ces appareils et le procédé de doublage et de renforcement est d'une mise en oeuvre relativement aisée.
