[origin: EP0149597A2] 1. A showcase (1) or the like having an at least partially curved front pane (2) which, in the region of a side edge is mounted in such manner, by means of a top and bottom fitting (7, 8), as to swing open about the chord defined by said fittings, characterised in that one of the fittings, preferably the top fitting (7), bears on the showcase (1) by means of an extension arm (9) and the other fitting (8) forms a double joint or the like (10, 11, 12) movable, on the one hand, about the chord as pivot axis and, on the other hand, about a pivot axis substantially perpendicular to the chord and to the extension arm.
