There are introduced in succession into conveying starwheels (4, 5) of a machine (1) packing boxes (2) comprising a body, a cover folded onto the body with a cover fold and a base of sheet metal folded on with a base fold (35). In a turning-in station (8), the base fold (35) is turned into the body in the axial direction. In this operation, an axially extending body fold on the base side is produced which is turned over radially inwards in a subsequent turning-over station (10) and is compressed axially towards the inside of the body in a compression station (11), which follows in turn, while gripping further around the base fold (35). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
In eine Maschine (1) werden in Transportsterne (4,5) nacheinander Verpackungsbehälter (2) eingebracht, die einen Rumpf, einen mit einem Deckelfalz an den Rumpf angefalzten Deckel und einen mit einem Bodenfalz (35) angefalzten Boden aus Blech aufweisen. In einer Einstulpstation (8) wird der Bodenfalz (35) in axialer Richtung in den Rumpf eingestülpt. Dabei entsteht eine sich axial erstreckende bodenseitige Rumpffalte, die in einer nachfolgenden Umlegestation (10) radial nach innen hin umgelegt und in einer wiederum nachfolgenden Einstauchstation (11) axial zum Inneren des Rumpfes hin, den Bodenfalz (35) weiter umgreifend, eingestaucht wird.
