Connection with rocking stirrup comprising a sole-plate (17) having a first face (17b) on which the cable (4) to be connected is intended to be clamped, a stirrup (27) having a central portion (28) and two arms which embrace the sole-plate (17) located during service between the cable (4) and the central portion (28) of the stirrup (27), a nut (33) captively mounted between the arms (29) on the side of the sole-plate (17) facing away from the central portion (28) of the stirrup, and a screw (36) which is engaged within the nut (33) and carries a bearing shoe (38) between the nut (33) and the sole-plate (19), characterized in that the connection is further provided on that side of the stirrup (27) towards which this latter is capable of pivotal displacement with a guide wall (41) which extends transversely to the cable (4) substantially from the second face (17a) of the soleplate (17) and, on the other side of the stirrup (27), with at least one lateral projection (40) which limits the translational displacement of the stirrup (27) along the direction of the cable (4) and cooperates with the guide wall (41) so as to prevent pivotal displacement of the stirrup (27) towards this other side.
