Abstract (en)
The sealed watch crown has an inner part designed in such a way as to ensure sealing in the region of the tube of the frame, and the outer part of the crown. The two parts are obtained by a complete covering with rubber or silicone material. This guarantees a perfect sealing of the watch with respect to dust and water in the region of the crown and frame tube since the seal is no longer effective only over a small portion of the length of the tube, but over all of it. The surface of the outer part of the rubber crown makes it possible to obtain, by adding colorants during the vulcanisation, crowns with the entire range of colours. This technique guarantees the stability of the colours over time, in contrast to the methods currently known such as paint, coloured oxides, etc which deteriorate after the watch has been used for a certain period of time. An outer metal covering is provided, attached to the silicone moulding. <IMAGE>

La couronne de montre étanche présente sa partie intérieure telle d'assurer l'étanchéité au niveau du tube de la boîte ainsi que la partie extérieure de la couronne. Elle sont obtenues par un recouvrement total de matière caoutchouc ou silicone. Ce garantie une étanchéité parfaite de la montre contre la poussière et contre l'eau au niveau couronne - tube de la boîte, puisque le joint ne travaille plus sur une faible partie de la longeur du tube, mais sa totalité. La surface de la partie extérieure de la couronne en caoutchouc permet d'obtenir par additif de colorants au moment de la vulcanisation des couronnes de toute la gamme couleurs. Cette technique garantit la tenue des couleurs dans le temps, contrairement aux procédés actuellements connus otels que peinture, oxides de couleurs, etc. qui après un certain temps d'utilisation de la montre se détériorent. Il est prevu un recouvrement métallique extérieur apporté sur le moulage silicone.
