[origin: WO8500454A1] Apparatus for filling a refillable container (1) having associated therewith a memory device (2) containing information relating to the previous usage of the container, such as age, previous fillings, maximum temperature and impact force to which the container has been subjected, etc. The apparatus includes a store (4) for information relating to the suitability of a container for refilling such as maximum age, dates of previous fillings, maximum permissible temperature and impact force etc., and a processing unit (5) for reading the information stored in the memory device (2) and the information contained in the store (4). The processor operates in accordance with a program stored therein, comparing the information contained in the memory device with that in the store and then providing an output indicating acceptance or rejection of the container. Assuming acceptance, the output is applied to a valve (6) which opens to connect the container to a dispensing means (17), which supplies fluid material to the container.

Dispositif de remplissage de récipients rechargeables (1) auquel est associé un dispositif de mémoire (2) contenant des informations relatives à l'utilisation préalable du récipient, telles que l'âge, les remplissages préalables, la température maximum et la force d'impact auxquelles le récipient a été soumis, etc.. Le dispositif comprend une mémoire (4) contenant des informations relatives à l'aptitude du récipient à être rechargé, telles que l'âge maximum, les dates des remplissages préalables, la température et la force d'impact maximum admissibles, etc., et une unité de traitement (5) lisant les informations stockées dans le dispositif de mémoire (2) et les informations contenues dans la mémoire (4). Le processeur travaille en fonction d'un programme stocké, en comparant les informations contenues dans le dispositif de mémoire avec celles contenues dans la mémoire (4), de manière à produire un signal de sortie indiquant l'acceptation ou le rejet du récipient.
