1. A process for printing synthetic fibers made of polyester, triacetate, acetate or polyamide or a mixture thereof with a disperse dye by the discharge or discharge resist method using a hydroxymethanesulfinate-containing mixture as discharging agent or a process for discharging to white with the use of the discharging agent alone, which comprises using as discharging agent a mixture of a) from 5 to 100 parts by weight of at least one compound of the formula see diagramm : EP0150405,P10,F2 with or without an alkali metal thiocyanate or ammonium thiocyanate, where in formula I R**1 is hydrogen, C1 -C4 -alkyl or C1 -C4 -alkylene-COOM, R**2 is hydrogen, methyl, methoxy or see diagramm : EP0150405,P10,F3 M is an alkali metal or ammonium cation and n is 0, 1 or 2, b) from 5 to 95 parts by weight of an alkali metal hydroxymethanesulfinate or hydroxyethanesulfinate or of an ammonium hydroxymethanesulfinate or hydroxyethanesulfinate or of an ammonia derivative which contains at least one radical of an alkali metal or ammonium salt methanesulfinic or ethanesulfinic acid, c) from 5 to 90 parts by weight of a water-in-soluble alkaline earth metal salt of a compound of the formula see diagramm : EP0150405,P10,F4 where R is H or C1 -C3 -alkyl, and d) from 0 to 50 parts by weight of a reducing carbohydrate.

Verfahren zum Bedrucken von Synthesefasern aus Polyester, Triacetat, Acetat und Polyamid sowie deren Mischungen untereinander mit Dispersionsfarbstoffen nach dem Ätz- oder Ätzreserveverfahren, bei dem man als Ätzmittel eine Mischung aus a) 5 bis 100 Gew.-Teilen mindestens einer Verbindung der Formel <IMAGE> und/oder eines Alkali- oder Ammoniumthiocyanats, b) 5 bis 95 Gew.-Teilen eines Alkali- oder Ammoniumhydroximethansulfinats, Alkali- oder Ammoniumhydroxiethansulfinats oder eines Ammoniakderivates, das mindestens einmal den Rest eines Alkali- oder Ammoniumsalzes der Methan- oder Ethansulfinsäure aufweist, c) 5 bis 90 Gew.-Teilen eines wasserunlöslichen Erdalkalisalzes einer Verbindung der Formel <IMAGE> in der R = H oder C1- bis C3-Alkyl ist und d) 0 bis 50 Gew.-Teilen eines reduzierend wirkenden Kohlenhydrats, verwendet.
