Abstract (en)

The invention relates to an assembly unit for fluorescent lamps (8) having an essentially oval or square fitting (7) on one end only, which is provided with contact pins (10), and having a ballast unit connected thereto, consisting of a coil former (24) and a coil core (29). In order to be able to use such fluorescent lamps (8) in lights with conventional bulb sockets with a small installed height and small diameter, it is provided that the bulb fitting (1) holds an insert (6) as a socket for the fitting (7) of the fluorescent lamp (8), and the ballast unit surrounds the part (7') of the fitting (7) projecting from the bulb fitting (1) with an annular core (29), concentrically to the bulb fitting (1), and extending approximately to the glass (9) of the fluorescent lamp (8), and is connected to the insert (6).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Montageeinheit für einseitig gesockelte Leuchtstofflampen (8) mit einem mit Kontaktstiften (10) versehenen, im wesentlichen ovalen oder quadratischen Sockel (7) sowie mit einem Glühlampensockel (1) und einem damit verbundenen Vorschaltgerät bestehend aus einem Spulenkörper (24) und einem Spulenkern (29). Um derartige Leuchtstofflampen (8) in Leuchten mit üblichen Glühbirnenfassungen bei geringer Bauhöhe und geringem Durchmesser verwenden zu können, ist vorgesehen, dass der Glühlampensockel (1) einen Einsatz (6) als Fassung für den Sockel (7) der Leuchtstofflampe (8) aufnimmt und das Vorschaltgerät mit einem Ringkern (29) den aus dem Glühlampensockel (1) herausragenden Teil (7') des Sockels (7) bis etwa zum Glas (9) der Leuchtstofflampe (8) konzentrisch zum Glühlampensockel (1) umgibt und mit dem Einsatz (6) verbunden ist.
