[origin: WO8500569A1] Installation for towing with the boat an enveloped iceberg respectively a resultant water-bag (1). The water-bag (1) has at least at one towing end a tow-bar (9) which is transversal with respect to the towing direction. On the tow-bar (9) are attached rolls (a, b ...) of loops (4) next to each other and used as flexible traction mechanisms. Tow neighbouring loops (4) of a row of loops are connected by another loop in order to form the following row of loops which comprises consequently one loop less until, after forming an acute-angled towing net (5), only one loop or more loops remain to attach the water-bag to a tow-boat. Thereby a uniform distribution of the traction force and a reduction of specific stress in the loop areas are obtained so that the problems of towing the water-bag are eliminated thereby making the towing operation possible with a reduced slide friction coefficient.

Installation de remorquage par bateau d'un iceberg enveloppé, respectivement d'une poche à eau résultante (1). La poche à eau (1) possède à au moins une extrémité de remorquage une barre de remorquage (9) transversale par rapport à la direction de remorquage. Sur la barre de remorquage (9) sont fixées en rangées (a, b, ...) les unes à côté des autres des boucles (4) servant de mécanismes de traction flexibles. Deux boucles voisines (4) de cette rangée de boucles sont reliées par une autre boucle afin de former la rangée de boucles suivante, comportant par conséquent une boucle de moins, jusqu'à ce qu'il ne reste, après formation d'un filet de remorquage (5) acutangulaire, qu'une seule ou plusieurs boucles pour rattacher la poche à eau derrière un remorqueur. On obtient ainsi une répartition régulière de la force de traction et une réduction des contraintes spécifiques dans les zones des boucles, si bien que le remorquage de la poche à eau ne pose plus de problèmes et devient possible avec un coefficient de frottement par glissement réduit.
