[origin: WO8500671A1] A method for making permanent colored images on an article comprising the steps of (a) locally applying a colorant to a zone of a selected target surface; (b) locally applying a photoresist material to the zone; (c) passing light through an image to cause of portion of the photoresist material conforming to the image, to hold the colorant in place; (d) removing from the surface undesired colorant with a developer solution; and (e) applying an emulsifier solution containing a surfactant and an anti-redisposition agent to said surface to remove residual colorant therefrom. A work station for making a permanent colored image on an article, comprising (a) a housing; (b) a sink within the housing; (c) a work surface contained within the sink, which work surface being pivotally mounted to enable it to be adjusted; (d) a water control valve and a nozzle for dispersing water onto the work surface; (e) an air blower for directing air over the work surface and thereafter exhausting the air; and (f) an image project projector for projecting an image onto the work surface.

Un procédé permettant de créer des images colorées de manière définitive sur un article comprend les étapes suivantes: a) application locale d'un colorant sur une zone d'une surface cible sélectionnée; b) application locale d'un matériau de photoréserve sur la zone; c) passage de lumière au travers d'une image pour faire en sorte que la partie de la photoréserve se conforme à l'image et maintenir le colorant en place; d) retrait de la surface du colorant indésiré avec une solution de révélateur; et e) application d'une solution émulsifiante contenant un agent tensio-actif et un agent anti-redisposition sur ladite surface pour en enlever le colorant résiduel. Une station de travail pour fabriquer une image colorée en permanence sur un article comprend: a) une enceinte; b) un évier dans l'enceinte; c) une surface de travail contenue dans l'évier, laquelle surface de travail est montée de manière pivotante de manière à pouvoir la régler; d) une vanne de commande d'eau et un ajutage pour disperser l'eau sur la surface de travail; e) une soufflante d'air pour envoyer de l'air sur la surface de travail et ensuite permettre à l'air de s'échapper; et f) un projecteur d'images permettant de projeter une image sur la surface de travail.
