A display sign which comprises a portion to be considered in the position of use as lower portion with a plurality of juxtaposed compartments into which cards carrying digits and/or other symbols can be replaceably inserted, and which further has a cover means for covering over openings which lead into the compartments of the lower portion and which serve for insertion of the cards into said compartments, characterized in that the lower portion is formed from an approximately prismatic cup member (1) which has a bottom (2) and transparent casing walls (3, 4, 5, 6) which stand up on all sides therefrom and which is open upwardly in the position of use and the interior of which is subdivided by partitioning portions (7) into the compartments (8) which serve for insertion of the cards (9), wherein the cards can be inserted into the compartments from the open side of the cup member (1), and that the cover means is formed by a cup-like closed cap member (11) which can be fitted on to the lower portion.
