[origin: US4597227A] A device for attaching a tool in portable angled grinders, allowing the connection to be released without special accessories. The device consists essentially of a hollow driveshaft, of a spindle that slides inside it, and of a tool-securing point consisting of a mating flange and nut. The nut is loosened by activating the displacing mechanism, which displaces the spindle toward the tool-securing point, lifting the nut, which is connected to the spindle by means of a threaded pin, off of the tool. The nut can then be screwed off by hand.

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Einrichtung zum Befestigen eines Werkzeugs (23) bei tragbaren Winkelschleifern, die das Lösen der Befestigung ohne Hilfswerkzeug erlaubt. Die Einrichtung besteht im wesentlichen aus einer hohl ausgebildeten Antriebswelle (16), einer darin verschiebbar gelagerten Spindel (20), einer Verschiebeeinrichtung (6) und einer Einspannstelle, die aus dem Gegenflansch (22) und Mutter (21) gebildet wird. Zum Lösen der Mutter (21) wird durch Betätigen der Verschiebeeinrichtung (6) die Spindel (20) in Richtung Einspannstelle verschoben, so daß die mit der Spindel (21) über den Gewindezapfen (19) verbundene Mutter (21) vom Werkzeug (23) abgehoben wird. Durch Drehen von Hand kann dann die Mutter (21) abgeschraubt werden.
