Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0152777A2] 1. A device for controlling an injection pump's governor rod stop (18) with the aid of an adjusting element on which an pressure medium acts and which _v_i_a an actuating member controls the stop (18) in dependence on the pressure exerted by the pressure medium, in which a separate electronic regulator signals by means of electric control pulses the presently required set-point value of the governor rod stop (18) characterized in that a chamfered-edge control system connected to the adjusting element comprises a chamfered edge (9) provided at one end of a sleeve (3) and a rotary slide valve (2) guided in the sleeve and having an outlet bore (8) arranged to cooperate with the chamfered edge (9), that the sleeve (3) is fastened to and follows the movements of a diaphragm (4) one side of which is subject to the application of pressure, that the sleeve (3) as a result of following the diaphragm's movements moves the connected actuating member which in turn actuates the governor rod stop (18), and in that the rotary slide valve (2) is arranged axially stationary yet angularly rotatable by a stepping motor (1).
