1. Parking apparatus for motor vehicles, comprising devices for lifting and lowering and for laterally displacing the motor vehicles on essentially rectangular pallets (6, 26, 7), the parking places for the motor vehicles being arranged side by side and above one another and the parking places above and below an access plane being accessible by means of lifting appliances for the pallets, and the pallets in the access plane being laterally displaceable at least in one plane, characterized in that at least two lifting appliances are provided for the parking places in each case arranged one above the other, in which arrangement each lifting appliance consists of motor-driven winches (1-4, 11-14) having at least four winch ropes (9), which, in the area of the four corners (5), act on a pallet (6, 7) allocated to the lifting appliance, and each of the two pallets (6, 7) can be moved into the same vertical position allocated to the access plane (8).

Die Parkvorrichtung besteht im wesentlichen aus den Paletten 6, 7 und 26, wobei die Palette 26 seitlich in Richtung des Pfeiles 27 beweglich ist, wahrend die Paletten 6 und 7 in senkrechter Richtung beweglich sind. Für die senkrechte Bewegung der Palette 6 und 7 ist eine Anordnung von je vier Winden je Palette vorgesehen, wobei die Winden am vorderen und rückwärtigen Ende durch Koppelungswellen 32 verbunden und die Koppelungswellen durch die Getriebewellen 15 über den Motor 18 sowohl gekoppelt als auch antreibbar sind. Die Anordnung ist so getroffen, daß die Antriebseinrichtung mit sehr wenig Platz auskommt.
