Um eine gleichmässige und ausreichende Zufuhr von Beschichtungsmaterial (7) über die Länge des Düsenschlitzes (4) sicherzustellen, ist das Beschichtungsmaterial (7) von einem Vorratsbehälter (8) durch einen über die Beschichtungsbreite verlaufenden Zufuhrkanal (10, 11) dem Düsenschlitz (4) der Schlitzdüseneinrichtung (3) zugeführt und ist in dem Zufuhrkanal (10, 11) der Schlitzdüseneinrichtung (3) eine mehrere Pumpenabschnitte (13) mit je zwei Pumpenzahnrädern (14, 15) aufweisende, über die Beschichtungsbreite verlaufende Zahnradpumpenanordnung (12) mit die Pumpenzahnräder (14, 15) lagernden Abstandsstücken zwischen den Pumpenabschnitten (13) leicht entfernbar angeordnet.
