Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0152937A2] 1. Hydraulic drive element for weaving shuttles, with one double-acting hydraulic cylinder (1) arranged at each side of the slay and having a piston (5) arranged displaceably in the said cylinder, and with in each case a control block connected to the hydraulic cylinder (1) and provided with control valves, wherein one control valve (PA) is situated in the pressure medium supply conduit (P) to the cylinder chamber (A) which does not contain the piston rod, a second control valve (TA) is arranged upstream of a return flow tank (T), and a third control valve (AB) is connected to that side (B) of the hydraulic cylinder (1) which contains the piston rod (2), a connecting conduit (VLA) also connecting all three control valves to one another and to that cylinder chamber (A) which does not contain the piston rod, and an additional speed regulating valve (GV1 ) is arranged in a second pressure medium conduit (P1 ) and there is also provided a third pressure medium supply conduit (P2 ) which is provided with a speed regulating valve (GV2 ) and which is connected to that side (A) of the hydraulic cylinder (1) which does not have the piston rod, characterised in that a connecting conduit (VL) leads at one end to the tank (T) via a positioning valve (PV) and at the other end connects, with interposition of a positioning cylinder (6), to that chamber (A) of the hydraulic cylinder (1) which does not have the piston rod, and in the positioning cylinder (6) there is guided axially in the same direction as the piston (5) in the hydraulic cylinder (1) a piston (7) whose piston rod (8) is directed towards the piston (5) of the hydraulic cylinder (1) and can abut against the said piston.
