Abstract (en)
1. A process for producing the homogeneous lead-coating of a tin-plated backing for an anode plate formed from rolled lead or lead alloys for electrolysis plants, which backing has been preheated with a reducing flame and which is preferably made of copper, the backing being placed in a casting mould and a molten mass consisting of lead or lead alloy is poured over the backing, characterised in that the backing is preheated to the flow temperature of the tin and the casting mould is pre-heated by means of a reduced flame, and that the anode plate which is made of rolled material is cast with one of its edge regions into the lead or lead alloy coating of the backing.
