[origin: EP0153566A2] The invention relates to the connection of individual construction elements made of laminated wood or other derived timber products by means of shaped parts made of metallic materials which are attached non-positively to the individual wooden construction elements by means of glued-in threaded parts or by means of driven-in anchoring nails. The shaped parts, pre-mounted on each construction element, are connected to one another by means of one or more pins so that either an articulated or a flexurally rigid coupling of the construction elements is produced. If there is a demand for a particular fire-resistance grading, the individual constituents of the connecting means can be let into the wooden parts so that an adequate casing of the parts requiring protection is provided. <IMAGE>
