1. A method of checking and sorting out tiles which are fed on a first conveyor belt (1) individually to a checking device (3) which is provided with feeler pins (16) and which is connected to a measuring device (17), in which respect each tile (5, 5', 5") is examined by the checking device (3) for surface flatness, characterised in that each tile (5, 5', 5") is checked by the measuring device (17) by way of the feeler pins (16) during the movement of a swivelling mechanism (6), carrying the checking device (3), from the first conveyor belt (1) to a second conveyor belt (2) and is either discarded as waste (5') or is deposited on the second conveyor belt (2) and in that the feeler pins (16) of the checking device (3) which consists of holding parts (1) and checking parts (11) control by way of the measuring device (17) the holding action of the holding part (10).

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Prüfen und Aussortieren von Ziegeln 5, 5', 5", welche auf einem Förderband 2 einzeln einer mit Taststiften 16 versehenen und mit einer Meßvorrichtung verbundenen Prüfvorrichtung 3 zugeführt werden. Jeder Ziegel wird hierbei durch die Prüfvorrichtung auf Ebenflächigkeit abgetastet, wobei jeder Ziegel durch eine die Prüfvorrichtung 3 tragende Schwenkeinrichtung 6 von dem einen Förderband abgenommen, über die Taststifte 16 durch die Meßvorrichtung geprüft und entweder als Abfall abgeworfen oder auf ein anderes Förderband 2 transportiert wird. Die Taststifte 16 der aus Halteteil und Prüfteil bestehenden Prüfvorrichtung 3 steuern hierbei über die Meßvorrichtung die Haltewirkung des Halteteils 10.
