[origin: WO8501147A1] Magnetic recording structure and a process for producing magnetic recording structures having a greater concentration of magnetizable particles in which a layer of magnetizable particles of reduced thickness is provided by coating a substrate with a liquid coating composition which is substantially free of magnetizable particles and which provides a tacky surface adapted to bond to magnetizable particles, magnetizable particles are applied to the tacky surface which is then solidified with the particles thereon.

Structure d'enregistrement magnétique et procédé de production de structures d'enregistrement magnétique possédant une plus forte concentration de particules magnétisables. Une couche de particules magnétisables d'épaisseur réduite est obtenue en enduisant un substrat d'une composition liquide de revêtement qui est pratiquement exempte de particules magnétisables et qui forme une surface collante indiquée pour fixer les particules magnétisables. Celles-ci sont appliquées sur la surface collante, qui se solidifie ensuite et retient les particules.
