The invention relates to an autopneumatic compressed-gas circuit breaker having a compression device, consisting of a cylinder (6) and piston (7), for producing an extinguishant flow required for extinguishing the arc. In order largely to maintain the damping effect of the pump volume at the end of the switching-on movement, and, at the same time, to achieve a rapid pressure equalisation between the pump volume and the other spaces in the circuit breaker, shortly before the moving circuit-breaker parts reach their final switching-on position, at least one opening (22), arranged in the pump cylinder (6), is opened whose cross-section is equal to or greater than the effective nozzle cross-section at this point in time. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft einen autopneumatischen Druckgasschakter mit einer aus Zylinder (6) und Kolben (7) bestehenden Kompressionseinrichtung zur Erzeugung einer zur Löschung des Lichtbogens erforderlichen Löschmittelströmung. Um am Ende der Einschaltbewegung die dämpfende Wirkung des Pumpenvolumens weitgehend zu erhalten und zugleich einen raschen Druckausgleich zwischen dem Pumpenvolumen und den übrigen Räumen des Schalters zu erzielen, werden kurz vor der Endeinschaltstellung der bewegten Schalterteile mindestens eine im Pumpenzylinder (6) angeordnete Öffnung (22) freigegeben, deren Querschnitt gleich oder größer ist, als der zu diesem Zeitpunkt wirksame Düsenquerschnitt.
