Abstract (en)
The object of the invention is to provide terrace houses with home comforts as in country houses despite the limited land space, and to save energy by the solar-adapted form and arrangement of the building members and rooms. To achieve these objects a living unit 1 consists of part-sections of two identical building members 2, 3 which, with one apex, point in a generally northwardly direction. The ridge 6 of each building member slopes northwardly at an angle of inclination which corresponds approximately to the lowest angle of insolation 7 of the winter midday sun and thus permits exposure of the northerly building member to the full effect of the sun. By glazing the northerly roof part 8, a patio 9 lying underneath is lit up. By means of a V-shaped platform 10 lying between the building members 2, 3, space is provided for winter gardens 13, solar collectors 12, terraces 14 and superstructures for visual and acoustic improvements in the region of the upper floor. By arranging the warm rooms 16 in the northerly building member 2 and the cold rooms in the southerly building member 3, a thermal and acoustic buffer zone is formed between the dwellings. Thanks to the wide south, southeast and southwest faces, north windows and north doors can be dispensed with in the region of the warm rooms 16, which brings visual and acoustic improvements in relation to the neighbouring dwellings. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezweckt, trotz reduziertem Landbedarf, Reihenhäuser Wohnkomfort, wie im Landhaus zu schaffen, und durch Solargerechte Form und Anordnung der Baukörper und Räume Energie zu sparen. Zur Ereichung dieser Ziele besteht eine Wohneinheit 1 aus Teilstücken von zwei gleichen Baukörpern 2, 3 welche mit einer Spitze in allgemeiner Richtung Norden zeigen. Der First 6 jedes Baukörpers ist nach Norden abfallend mit einem Neigunswinckel welcher etwa tiefsten Winter- Mittagsonnen-Einstrahlwinckel 7 entspricht und damit die volle Besonnung dess nördlichen Baukörpers zulässt. Durch Verglasung der Nördlichen Dachpartie 8 wird ein darunter liegender Lichthof 9 erhellt. Durch eine V-förmig zwischen den Baukörpern 2,3, liegende Plattform 10 wird Platz gebildet für Wintergarten 13, Sonnenkollektoren 12 Terassen 14 sowie Aufbauten für optische u.akustische Verbesserungen im Bereiche dess Obergeschosses. Durch Anordnung der Warmräume 16 im nördlichen Baukörper 2 u. der Kalträume in den südlichen Baukörper 3 wird zwischen den Wohnungen eine themische u.akustische Pufferzone gebildet. Dank der breiten Süd-, Südost- Südwestfronten, im Bereiche der Warmäume 16 kann auf Nordfenster u.Nordtüren verzichtet werden, was in Bezug auf die Nachbarwohnungen optische u.akustische Verbesserungen bringt.
