Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0154243A2] When using unidirectionally (glass) fibre-reinforced composite material profiles (1, 21) for pretensioning in concrete construction, the unavoidable matrix cracks during tensioning must be closed in order to prevent the premature destruction of the fibres. The tensioning members (1, 21) extending in jacket tubes (7, 20) are encased by a pourable sealing compound which is sufficiently flowable and wetting, exhibits no shrinkage and permits a constant force transmission from the tensioning member to the jacket tube firmly connected to the concrete. <IMAGE>
