[origin: EP0154619A2] In a holding magnet release with a U-shaped yoke body (3), there is provided a spring-loaded hinged armature (14) which bridges over the pole shoes of the yoke body (3) and its spring (18) engages on a tab (17) bent up from the armature (14), the attachment point (19) of the spring (18) on the housing (1) being arranged in the region of a plane containing the end surfaces of the ends (15, 16) of the limbs (7, 8) of the yoke body (3). Furthermore, the armature (14) is supported in the angle region between the end (16) of the limb (8) of the yoke body (3) carrying the permanent magnet (11) and a supporting plate (22), the supporting plate (22) being attached to the limb (8) of the yoke body (3) via sprung holding claws (23) and has bent-up tabs (27) which hold the permanent magnet (11). <IMAGE>
