In the rifle, the breech housing (2) is equipped at its front end with a sleeve head (5) which has a continuous cylindrical receiving bore (8) for the rear cylindrical barrel end (14, 15). The sleeve head (5) is provided on its underside (8a) with a vertical longitudinal slot (9) and with a horizontal clamping screw (11) which is arranged transversely relative to the barrel (13) and by means of which the mutually opposite sides of the sleeve-head underside (8a) can be clamped together. The rear barrel end (14) projects from the sleeve head (5) at the rear. Formed on the rear barrel end (14) are at least two outwardly projecting locking bosses (18) in one piece with this. There is a breech head (32) which is mounted displaceably in the direction of the barrel and pivotally about an axis (S) coaxial with the barrel axis (A) and which can be interlocked with the locking bosses (18) in the manner of a bayonet fastening and which in the breech position surrounds the rear barrel end (14). <IMAGE>

Bei einem Gewehr, insbesondere einer Repetierbüchse, mit einer Laufhalterung für Wechselläufe, ist das Verschlußgehäuse (2) an seinem vorderen Ende mit einem Hülsenkopf (5) versehen, der eine durchgehende zylindrische Aufnahmebohrung (8) für das hintere zylindrische Laufende (14, 15) aufweist. Der Hülsenkopf (5) ist an seiner Unterseite (8a) mit einem vertikalen Längsschlitz (9), sowie einer quer zum Lauf (13) angeordneten, horizontalen Klemmschraube (11) versehen, mit welcher die einander gegenüberstehenden Seiten der Hülsenkopfunterseite (8a) zusammenspannbar sind. Das hintere Laufende (14) ragt hinten aus dem Hülsenkopf (5) heraus. Am hinteren Laufende (14) sind mindestens zwei mit diesem aus einem Stück bestehende, nach außen vorspringende Verriegelungswarzen (18) angearbeitet. Es ist ein in Laufrichtung verschiebbar und um eine zur Laufachse (A) koaxiale Aschse (S) schwenkbar gelagerter Verschlußkopf (32) vorgesehen, welcher nach Art eines Bajonettverschlusses mit den Verriegelungswarzen (18) verriegelbar ist und in Verschlußstellung das hintere Laufende (14) umfaßt.
