1. Es wird eine Vorrichtung zum Befestigen von Schienen wie Backenschienen im Bereich von Weichen vorgeschlagen, bei der die Schiene (184) auf einer Unterlageplatte (180) angeordnet und der Schienenfuß (182) an einer Seite von einer Schienenbefestigungsplatte (178) wie Gleitstuhl niedergehalten wird. Der Gleitstuhl (178) wird mittels eines beweglich angeordneten Niederhalters (202) lösbar auf der Unterlageplatte (180) festgelegt, um mit einem vorderen Abschnitt den Schienenfuß (182) niederzuhalten. Dabei wirkt eine von einem Spannelement (216) hervorgerufene Kraft auf den Gleitstuhl (178) in Richtung des Schienenfusses (182).
